There are many things brewing as April drags us firmly into its second half—movings, endings, changes in location, changes of mind—and it has been something of a struggle to sit still. The last week or so I have found myself wondering (or more accurately lost myself wondering) a lot about importance, and where we place it, or what is deemed worthy of the word, how we often have a tendency to brush things off or demote them for fear of the important letting us down, or letting us go. If something is
