No.82
Time proceeds in its usual way (that is, slowly and then all at once). I've been trying to drag work and life along faster than is really sensible, both literally and figuratively, because I'm moving house in the middle of this month, and it seems as though two more planets worth of things are needing to happen in between now and then. Below is a not-entirely-inaccurate depiction of my current packing situation.
WORK RELATED NEWS:
This week, I sent off what may or may not end up being the cover design for the new book, this-universe-thing, and it was moderately terrifying, hitting send on something that I might be able to run my fingers over (soon, but also not soon at all). This time around, the publisher suggested rough ideas for the design, we mulled, and then I attacked on the lettering front, and attempted to piece things together in an attractive way (although they were more than happy for me to do this, I do worry that I might have temporarily taken someone's job).
See also: sending this off was magnificent enough that I don't remember too much else of what happened. Did I sleep? Was I useful? I couldn't rightly say.
THIS WEEK I FELL IN LOVE WITH:
These collages by Rozenn Le Gall.
The end.
In light of my carefully cultivated chaos (because chaos should always be adequately illuminated), it is likely that I will not be falling into your inbox for the next couple of weeks, and if this turns out to be the case, you can have a well-deserved silence.
