We wait for the sun like plants, and yet I am always surprised by how magnificently different I feel after some of it. Surely, like our leafy counterparts, we need light in order to grow? The Norwegians are an argument against this, with their resolute tallness seemingly in spite of the long mørketiden (the polar night, the winter darkness).
