Amongst the sea of things at home on my desk there is a slim metal pot, and it contains multiple pencils (one of which is wearing a felted llama sort of costume, it has to be seen to be believed), a compass, two scalpels for cutting paper, some fineliners, and four calligraphy pens which point upward. These calligraphy nibs were the latest addition to the pot, and therefore I've forgotten more than once that they were in there, which has meant I often lunge for something and end up impaled on one. I'm yet to figure out why I haven't moved them.
