No.40
I have just finished consuming a piece of coffee, rose and cardamom cake, which was perfect and entirely outrageous. It's been a tired week, the kind that you probably won't even remember living through in a few months time, because spring will be tying up its loose ends, and because who knows where we will all be. It feels like I am leaning toward something, but I don't quite recognise it yet.
THINGS THAT HAPPENED ON THE BLOG THIS WEEK:
A brief list of fascinations, a piece about love & untranslatability, and a timelapse of me drawing a quote.
INTERLUDE FOR THINGS I’VE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH:
This painting by Dan-ah Kim, I want to live inside it.
A THING NOBODY HAS SEEN (APART FROM ONE PERSON):
Georgia O'Keeffe painted beautiful things, but she also spilled the most divine sentences.
The end.
I don't want this to end. I want to keep sending you quotes and paintings and feelings from my small corner of earth, but the day is dragging my body away from the laptop, and so I suppose I had better take my head with me.
Farewell, see you next sometime.
