No.23
I'm still here! It's a miracle! Honestly, I only missed one week out, but I've been extremely busy bopping to songs, and have been both obscenely productive and awfully erratic as a result. Onto the newsletter!
THINGS THAT HAPPENED ON THE BLOG THIS WEEK:
Monsters, and Thursday. The week prior to that, a recap of Göteborg Museum of Art in a single photo, and some words. The photo below is my wall of botanical specimens which will inevitably, at some point, cross the line between charming and completely out of all control.
WORK-RELATED NEWS:
Here is a link to an interview I did with the sweetest website ever, Artnimals, where they house a wonderful intersection between art and animals (obviously). She said extortionately kind things about me (some of which could be true, who knows). I've also just started work on the lettering for the Italian edition* of The Illustrated Book of Sayings/Speaking in Tongues, which the publisher is hoping to have out before Christmas! Yay!
*It's possible that their edition will have a different cover and an exciting new title, so stay tuned.
THING NOBODY HAS SEEN:
This section from a personal illustration I've been working on, incomplete as of yet, but it feels good to take snatch a passing idea from my mind and put it onto delicious paper.
The end.
So it was short, I realise this. Short and without much in the form of embellishment (or actual information). But next Saturday's newsletter will be a) actually on time and b) incredibly wow-my-gosh exciting so if that doesn't justify this measly one, I don't know what will.
Farewell, see you next sometime.
