No.15
A slow week, I suppose. Still, some of them have to be, and it wasn't terrible it just contained less than some of the previous weeks that have passed us by. The news from other places in the world was awful, the weather unpredictable and yet life carries on, sweeping us all along with its concept of time, in its ocean current.
THINGS THAT HAPPENED ON THE BLOG THIS WEEK:
A single thing, which I've included below because really when there is only one thing what is the point in all those links.
A BEAUTIFUL THING I SAW THIS WEEK:
I receive the newsletter of The Jealous Curator, which gets sent out on a Saturday morning, and always spurs me on to create mine, if I haven't already. It's a pretty great format for a newsletter, and is essentially just a small art gallery in your inbox—this week I loved these pieces by Spanish artist Josep Moncada.
BOOK-RELATED NEWS:
I'm still working on the German translation, but am reaching the final stages (all the different languages, below). I hope to be done by the end of July, which will leave me free to talk about a third book idea SAY WHAT NOW.
Side note: I've been continually astonished by the success of the book in places like Japan and Italy, and wanted to insert a small thank you to those who buy it. (Thank you.)
PREVIOUSLY PROMISED SUCCULENT PHOTO:
I said last week I'd include some photos of my 238478 succulents, but I only managed to take one. What you can't see in this photo is that she's about 25cm tall and I'm very concerned about her instability.
The end.
There we go. I kept a promise, mumbled a bit and distracted you from a lack of actual news with the work of somebody else and a plant. It worked, right? Next week there might be another knitted animal, also I might actually, really knit a small animal (if I can figure out how to knit, small irrelevant detail), and perhaps I'll be done with the German translation. We dream.
Farewell, see you next sometime.
